So, with the coming weeks you will be seeing quite a few changes. You will notice 1 more shirt released in the next few weeks and a new website, finally. The website will be a big step forward and just overall make the site have the feel it should for a brand like Rethink. Without further ado the new shirt!

The new shirt is another one by Rethink’s past artist, Zack Davenport. He did Weather Wiper and Meteor Shower and for some reason every shirt he does for me includes water…lol. This one though is great for those looking to break the winter wardrobe dull tone sickness. With two amazing colorways and thoughts of running through the sprinkler this tee should be in everyone’s closet. What are you waiting for, pictures…fine.

My senior year of college was one I could not make better. It held great times, little bad, girls and more importantly amazing times with my friends. I knew my time was short in the little bubble of college and wanted to make the most of it. Little did I know I would get my excuse the day I moved in. As any college student who lives in a small college town knows, the apartments are not always the best.

We chose to live in a huge house that had an odd basement and first floor and amazingly large deck. The first floor had our living room, kitchen, bathroom, shower room, laundry room, entertainment room and a bedroom.  It also had bats, which is where the story gets interesting.

A bat in a house is something that should be removed. It’s hard to remove a sleeping bat in a calm manner. We being the educated type decided winter snow gloves were the best grabbing implement and decided out of the 4 guys I should remove it. Great.

Everything was going great until the thing decided to wake up and bite the hand that was throwing it out of the house. I did have a glove on, but that did not deter the bat nor did me swinging in violently to get it off outside. That thing fought and fought, but it was gone.

In the end the bat was removed and I was almost sure I had been bitten through the glove and being the worrier I was I thought I had rabies. After doing some googling and research I found out that symptoms don’t appear for months and by then its too late. I also knew that the vaccine was a needle in the stomach, fuzz that.

I had convinced myself that my life might end and the best thing to do was have as much fun as possible. From that day on, I still went to classes and got everything done, but, but I made every effort to live fully. I took all the stupid road trips, went for girls, and took every chance to go out with friends. I really was just living it up. Doing crazy things, working hard and just loving life.

That 6 months limit of no rabies symptoms came and went. I guess I knew the whole time that I didn’t have rabies, but needed an excuse to really live life at its fullest. Since then, I have graduated and life gets all to real sometimes. Rethink while my first love is not at a stage where it could support me completely financially. I get stress from finances, job hunting, trying to find money to buy a ring for my future wife and a ton of other stuff.

Life is different and I have wouldn’t trade where I am currently at for anything, but at the same time I need to work on still living like that. It’s foolish to think I could live like that 100% of the time. I just want to remind others to on occasion do something fun, forget stress, just do some fun stuff.

P.S- We had 2 more bats in our house that year along with a mouse and a bird.
